These kind of stories that strive to tell us how Europe really feels about us, Bush and/or Obama are ambitious at best. The author does a lot of guessing about it all. It reads like an opinion piece. Not necessarily an uninformed opinion, but opinion nonetheless--without any attempt to label it as such or to balance the tone.

Americans don't give a damn about the Europeans and what they think. The Europeans on the other hand think that Americans are arrogant and self-righteous. Pres. Bush is the prime example of this. Yes, they are ready to move on with the next President. I think that most people will read this article and say Ho Hum. Not realizing that we need all the friends we can get. Pres. Bush is not going to attract any by going there.
