The piece records the strengths and weakness well except for one glaring omission: it never mentions McCain's age, which is his greatest weakness in poll after poll. In contrast, it does mention Obama's race and discusses it at some length. No question that he won't get the racist vote, but offsetting that is the moderates and independents who would have serious reservations about putting a 72-year-old in the White House. Those two factors may be a wash, but one is never mentioned.

This piece seemed more like an editorial than a story on the exit polls.
