This was definitely something that I just found out about so I did have interest in the story. That is the thing about these news stories. Either they catch you before you hear them or after. If afterwards you are getting something predigested but this one was just the facts of the story.

This article does not contribute anything beside repeating the McCain campaign: it does not offer perspective on why McCain would like a town hall format as opposed to another format and does not even elaborate on what a town hall format would look like.

I rate this story only slightly higher than average because this is just a new take on an old story. I'm sure there are other newsworthy things McCain said in the speech this morning. The only thing that makes this fresh is that now Obama is truly the presumptive nominee.
