Judson presents a lot of facts and figures to show that economic inequality is growing--effectively refuting the article he cites in the headline and lede. So it is unfortunate that he fails to present as much support for his second contention, that this growing income inequality is "a lot to worry about." The same level of support for that argument would have made this a truly valuable article.

As a student of history, I tend to agree with his second argument. We have seen economic inequality lead to social instability over and over again. However, that sort of historical observation doesn't rise to the level of proof as the rest of this piece.
