Yes, because it encapsulates the Republican Primary Race from last year to present time.

With Super Tuesday on the horizon, McCain was building momentum, Huckabee was looking to the Bible belt states and Romney was focusing on the economy and two stars were out.

It looks like it needs some more information on what is going on now.
There needs to be a rap up paragraph.
Even though McCain had an uphill battle to reach presumptive status, he has made mistakes on the campaign trail. He not only faced an uphill battle to reach his position, but there are rumblings in the Republican Party about his selection as their nominee.
