I had just read about the AFP and it's struggle to remain as free and independent from France's government as possible. Since our media has failed us miserably, I'm always looking for a "clean" a media as possible, AFP is one. This article provided some context to McCain's sticky situation with Bush - the need to be needed but not too much; like Bush said, "Look, if my showing up and endorsing him helps him, or if I'm against him and it helps him -- either way, I want him to win." AFP explained the low approval ratings toward the Democratic Congress, which in itself is unusual in our/U.S. newspaper/media article; it's for the inaction toward the White House/Bush Adminstration's breaking of so many Constitutional laws.
