Partial, incomplete, and tendentious; it picks up from where McCain's criticisms of Obama's economic proposals start and then runs with it. In other words, it piles on on top of McCain's criticisms of Obama. It does not present what the Obama side says on McCain's shallow and insufficient positions on the myriad of complex issues with US trade.

Lazy story repeating well-known positions of the candidates. No original reporting or facts. At least its' about a genuine issue rather than the horse race.

Third party opinions are offered for analysis of Obama's position on trade agreements but none are offered for McCain's positions. It is as if McCain's position is the norm and Obama's is a deviation from the norm. What I find most telling is how McCain seems to work this issue back to a question of national security. Agreements with Colombia and South Korea are important because of the proximity of these countries to Venezuela and North Korea, our "foes", respectively. And, he accuses the Democrats of more concern for unions than for the "national interest".
