I had high hopes for this article, but it disappointed. 1) I think she's wrong about Megabus starting this trend. I'm pretty sure it was Chinatown bus companies that introduced inexpensive intercity bus travel on the East coast. 2) There's no discussion of the green angle on this, nor how the airline and rail industries are responding.

I wouldn't say it is quality journalism, since the writer's opinion is pretty dominant in the article. It's almost an add for bus transportation.
