The writer doesn't know much about ad placement or frequency of message, which are both elemental in an on-air TV campaign. The comparisons of amounts spent from W in 2004 and McCain now appears to show a small McCain war chest emptying itself earlier for TV spots. Nice to have some info on prime time placement and perhaps if there were a comparison between the cost of an ad in 04 and now to see if it's in line.
