Something Fishy in South Carolina?

(Blog Post) Is there something suspicious about the results in the US Senate primary victory of unknown Democrat Alvin Greene, who defeated fellow Democrat Vic Rawl, 59 percent to 41 percent? I'm not sure yet, but there is a whiff of something strange going on here. Full Story »

As the comments say, the real question is where Greene came up with two checks for $10,000. This piece doesn't address that. Nor would I expect it to, given the venue.

The report doesn't shed much light on what happened, it merely raises several possibilities. More in depth reporting would have improved its journalistic quality. An old-school reporter might have sought out Greene voters to solicit their opinions

I believe this is a set up to defeat the Dems in November. This Greene guy was unemployed and very unlikely to have $10,000 registration fee, let alone enough to run a campaign. This is fishy...
