The article omits any consideration of anti-trust either on the part of Microsoft or on the part of Google. It ignores the effect on people on the street. With those aspects omitted, the importance of what is poofed about as preliminary rumors seems relatively unimportant.

This article highlights the latest news. It gives the reader a peak at a real analysis of the impact of the merger. It would have been nice if the writer would have dug a little deeper into the reason, as to why now the talks are back on. Good article, nonetheless.
