Five Challenges of Next-Generation Biofuels

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has just issued a report detailing the outlook and challenges of next generation biofuels. ...many would-be next generation fuel producers are making unrealistic assumptions about things like feedstock costs. The author, who has Master’s in Chemical Engineering and works for a bioenergy holding company analyzes a recent government report from the USDA to distill the negative findings regarding biofuels.. A companion piece will examine the positive findings. I'll link to it when it becomes available.

This is a biased review of a report, not really a piece of journalism. That said its good to see this report getting noticed and analyzed.
