An interesting article for preliminary awareness, if the problem is new to you. Not much analysis of how widespread the problem is, not any breakdown of corollary behaviors or circumstances which can help generate problems or prevent problems from occurring. No view of alternative activities that counteract cyber-alienation. But then I just read the article, did not watch the whole video. ... OK, I succumbed to internet addiction and watched the whole thing. The individual stories in more depth are more compelling. PBS seems to be moving toward using the internet as a social awareness and action medium on the subject.
