Invasions of Privacy

Two weeks ago, I asked a Burger King spokeswoman whether the company had hired a private investigative firm to infiltrate the non-violent Student/Farmworker Alliance (SFA) or Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW). She declined to comment. I asked whether the company was aware of any executives making "libelous" comments against CIW via online posts and e-mails. Again, no comment. Full Story »

Good journalism, which brings up issue often overlooked....reports on an extensive investigation...and corporate lying. Names names and recommends remedies. Quotes legislators, corporate rep. as well as published reports.....sends a strong clear, morally up right message! Invites active participation in shaping the world we (the people that eat food and/or that work for a living) live in.
