Targeting media outlets is never a good idea

This editorial fails to provide any specifics about attacks on the media in Beirut. While the Daily Star has identified an important subject and done a good job of explaining why it's important, there's a real lack of context and facts that weaken the argument.

This editorial sounds good - a plea for freedom of speech and objectivity in journalism. But as reviewer Eben Kaplan noted, there's little background on the events in Lebanon that prompt this editorial.
