This is a fairly detailed and balanced examination of Obama's evolution as a politician. On the basis of his record and many interviews it paints him as an ambitious pragmatist with a liberal bent. Many on the American left are likely to be disappointed and those on the right are not likely to be satisified but the article doesn't appear to have an objective of either pleasing or alienating anyone.

A guy from Harvard in Chicago in the windy city where everyone is connected. He had to build his community. Organize around mutual concerns and listen to different points of view. This article gives us a glimpse of Barak Obama.
