This provides an analysis of what viewers have said for years: Sometimes Jon Stewart's satire offers more substance on politics than the the MSM.

The subject matter was not interesting at the onset. The author effectively used data and research to bring the reader in with each new paragraph. Brilliant Journalism. I admire writing like this, because it grabs the reader's attention and gently reels them in without any effort or salacious inuendos.

An interesting but dry analysis of "The Daily Show" which concludes that the show engages in satire, provides a type of journalistic function in getting people to think critically about the news featured and targets Republicans more often than Democrats. Interesting but hardly news to those who watch "The Daily Show."
