One thing that struck me about last week's coverage of Hillary Clinton and John McCain's proposal to declare a gas tax holiday is how aggressive the press was been in showing the idea's ridiculousness. Full Story »

Policy issues are complex in the pros and cons their coverage requires and are less sexy than the horse race and day to day back and forth of the candidates. We need Americans to demand more from our media; hard for a dumbed down electorate busy trying to keep up with American Idol and Survivor.
