Excellent and informative overview of the global food crisis, as seen through the eyes of national broadcasters from around the world (ABC, Al Jazeera, BBC, CCTV in China). This 'silent tsunami' is not only affecting developing countries, but now has a very real impact on the U.S. economy as well, where NBC reports taht some retailers like Costco are curbing the number of rice bags a customer can buy at a time. This is a well produced, objective and insightful introduction to an important topic.
