This article is a good example of quality journalism for several reasons. First of all, the article was published in the New York Times, which is a dependable and credible source for news. Also, throughout the piece the reporter has links to experts and other sources. Four different professionals discuss the issue of campaign finance law as well. This story is more of a commentary, as the title states, on the issues. The article is informative in that it discusses the current issue regarding campaign finance law and Hillary Clinton. The movie has caused quite a lot of controversy and so has the fact that the Supreme Court will hear “rearguments” on a case. While the paper itself is credible, the fact the story is in the opinion section obviously means it is likely not objective. I think it is a well-written piece with plenty of balance. It fairly states the facts and gives supporting information. Included in the article is a movie trailer for ‘Hillary: The Movie’ which allows the reader to gain more perspective on the article.
