I got tired of stories on the campaign money race a LONG time ago. So I started this one with some trepidation. Since Obama has winning this race for a long time, I also wondered how it qualifies as news. Like the NC resident quoted in the story, I figured you could sum it up in a sentence. "He's done in North Carolina what he's done nationally, which is outraise the hell out of her," said Gary Pearce, a Raleigh-based consultant who hasn't taken sides. To the writers' credit, they've taken a very tired story and spiced it up some by listing top donors to each candidate.
