This news analysis is probably the best, most balanced and well informed article written thus far about the visit of Pope Benedict. The author assesses the negative as well as the positive aspects of the visit, and candidly labels certain events as unsuccessful, such as the meeting with Catholic educators. He provides considerable context, for example about the sexual abuse cases. He is clear about the meaning of each aspect of the visit, providing context for example for the ecumenical meeting in New York. Excellent journalism.
