As usual, Global Pulse offers a well-rounded international group of viewpoints on a single subject--this time, assimilation and/or integration of Muslims in Europe. The piece is marred by dredging up some really old controversies--such as the Satanic Verses flap of years ago -- and mashing them in with more modern issues, such as the possible use of sharia law in British jurisprudence.

Pretty good story... didn't break any new ground for me, because I've been following Muslim issues for years. A fine overview for someone who *hasn't* been following how Islam gets along with the modern world, though.

The episode of Global Pulse may have taken on a topic too complex to be explored adequately in a five minute video. I find Global Pulse works best when it presents different perspectives on a single story. In this case, we got many perspectives on several different, though related stories. However, it is good at broadly sketching this issue, and worth watching.
