Excellent well-sourced story about the Senate fight between Ted Lamont and incumbent Joe Lieberman. The reporter quotes Lamont and Lieberman and their spokespeople but rather than a "he says she says" article, the reporter digs deeper to find out more facts and more context. Contrast this to the New York Times article about whether Bush should negotiate with Syria and Iran. In that article, quotes - even anonymous allusions - were granted the status of truth and there was no attempt by the reporter to do anything other than report what people said.
