White House ready to draft own health care bill, sources say - CNN.com

The White House is quietly talking about drafting formal health care legislation after allowing Congress to work on its own for months, CNN has learned.

Multiple sources close to the process told CNN on Friday that while the plan is uncertain, the administration is preparing for the possibility of delivering its own legislation to Capitol Hill sometime after President Obama's speech to a joint session of Congress on Wednesday. Full Story »

There should be a great deal of press on this as it has the potential to change the whole ballgame.

Well this is a new twist that gives the media a huge bone to start anew on. Lets see there is the White House, Congress and the views of many of its members. This is what you call whipping the pot. I just most sincerely hope that the Public Option is not dead.
