This article is a comprehensive round up of the food shortage across the globe. A bit confusing at times when it talks about fuel and gas prices, but otherwise an interesting read.

The article attempts to show the problem with the world economy on the large scale, while including details from specific regions in corroboration. However, in including the details, it seems to lack cohesion, jumping from one example to the next. Furthermore, even though the article is well-sourced, one of the sources used is a “London-based independent journalist,” whose credibility and opinion doesn’t seem to fit with the article.
