Students trained to use emotional and social intelligence

I admit to not being familiar with this topic -- as such, I expected to learn more about it from the article. While it makes good use of an important individual in the movement, it lacks two very important sources: one of the teachers implementing the program, and the students being affected by it. Furthermore, an opposing viewpoint was presented by the same individual who was a proponent of the technique, which makes it less effective.
