An excellent reminder of the state of racial divide in this country on the 40th anniversary of the Kerner commission, the first unflinching gov't analysis of these problems undertaken after massive inner city riots across the country in 1967. A fortuitous anniversary that Moyers has brought to the surface on the coat tails of Obama's excellent speech on race. Should help foster a national discussion and further help Obama's candidacy. The follow up interview with Booker, the bright young Mayor of Newark is stellar: http://www.pbs.org/moyers/journal/03282008/watch2.html
