If there is a worse proposal out there, I haven't heard it. Health Insurance corporations will never enact the changes needed for true reform. The only "trigger" I would support is one that would create a single payer plan so national health insurance would join Medicare, Medicaid and the VA to assure universal coverage. Even if the Democrats cave on the public option and accept a "trigger" they won't get a single Republican vote except for Snowe.
