Now schools told to teach happiness lessons alongside the three Rs
Schools in Birmingham are being urged to give happiness the same prominence in the curriculum as the three Rs, it emerged today.
The city council has told its 440 schools they must give equal priority to children's emotional well-being, literacy and numeracy.
