The stories of the week are presented in the vogue of the "if it bleeds" fascination of ambulance chasers. The story lacks context of both the long and recent history of Tibet, largely unknown to most news readers. Tibet was invaded and occupied by China easily, taking military advantage of a culture that had rejected militarism, and whom had been abandoned by one-time CIA support in typical US geopolitical crap shooting. Including references to the cause of the rioting and rage would help provide context.
