A helpful overview of the recent democratic election in Pakistan, showing how different broadcasters covered this story, from Aljazeera to the BBC, from China's Asia Today to NBC News. I was intrigued to hear that Pakistan is one of the 10 least popular news topics in the United States, leading to lesser coverage of that country by American media - though no source is provided for that fact.

This was informative, but I feel the US media position should have been represented with more nuance. There's been quite a lot of diversity of Pakistan coverage in the U.S. media, and not all of it tows the pro-Musharraf line. And while the quantity of coverage may not be enough, as a percentage of total international coverage, in the last couple months Pakistan has ranked high.

good...Interesting difference to MSM here in the states. More can be said on the support of unelected, dictatorial Pakistani government...and this does not compare other head of states comments. Still a refreshing view of the Pakistan that rejects, via election, a government that denied ' rule of law' and a global look at election coverage.
