This editorial is a good conversation opener. It lays out the problem. But nfortunately, offers no solutions. In fact, a solution/option of limiting salaries of the "bankers" who lead the system into the abyss is declared a nonstarter.

My only problem with this article is blaming this on the Bush administration. Bailing out big businesses is something the government as a whole has been doing for the longest time. It's not limited to one administration or one branch of the government. Correcting this is going to take a little more than just cleaning out one administration.
