The story is more of a teaser than a useful source of information. And the possible supression was reported On Canadian TV news a month ago. So it's not exactly hot new info.

Yes, it seems to be factual, well sourced, important, etc. Maybe on January 20, 2009 we can make a big pile out of this and similar stories and (a) set it on fire, if that won't violate pollution laws, or conjure up thoughts of repressive governments' actions (b) playfully jump into it the way kids used to jump into piles of raked autumn leaves before burning leaves became illegal or (c) hope that whoever is standing there taking the oath of office is willing to do something constructive about keeping politics out of science. This is just one more sorry piece of evidence that real problems of real people are being sacrificed to political expediency.
