Insightful perspectives from ordinary American citizens in the Mississippi Delta about who they plan to vote for in the presidential election. This footage by documentarian Rebecca Parrish is shot 'cinema verite' style, which helps reveal the personalities and the way they think, in many subtle, unspoken details. Excellent work, that provides helpful context about American attitudes towards this historic election.
I found it difficult rating this piece. I found the interviews together formed a compelling survey of views on the primary in this small town in Mississippi. However, the viewer is not given any contextual information or analysis, which take away from it's journalistic value.
