Same review as for the similar article by Chuck Hagel: they raise my esteem for the Washington Monthly. I wish Clark's and Hagel's message could be broadcast throughout the MSM. Most people, like most NeoCons, apparently, still believe torture is necessary to give us a better intelligence capability. Voter knowledge that the opposite is true, and that torture is encouraging warfare against the U.S., would quickly reverse our foreign policy.
