Thoughtful opinion that recommends that the U.S. give Afghani people the economic aid they need to keep the Taliban in check, and provide women with better access to education. I would have liked to see more evidence from multiple sources, even though this is an opinion piece. Right now, much of the argument is based on a single source, Suraya Pakzad, a mother of six and Afghan activist.
