Perhaps no other issue since the decision to go to war in iraq has been so muddied by sloppy and lazy reporting. Any story that actually contributes to the public learning curve on the facts of health care reform is welcomed.

Public interest is not well served when stampeded by fear mongering. Senator DeMint continues to perpetrate fraud on the American people by using the issue for purely political ends. This is a pattern that will not serve any of us well in the long term. Decisions determined by fear are never good ones.
