Foley brings history and the history of great social change into the dialogue of Kennedy's death and legacy. Well written.

Another dimension of Kennedy is his embodiment of noblesse oblige, a person of wealth who championed causes for ordinary working people; in strong contrast the the wealthy of the current right who use their wealth and position to increase their wealth and power at the cost of ordinary working people.
