Brief but informative article that points to the fact that many Palestinian women are suffering from abuse by other Palestinians, partly due to a surge of religious fanaticism. I would like to see more factual evidence and independent perspectives on this topic - particularly with respect to so-called 'honour killings', which are cited here, but not fully explained. But this is helpful journalism about an important and undercovered topic.

The difficulty of finding other support decreases in Gaza, where Israeli control has decreased the quality of life and drastically increased the level of stress. This article makes the big picture more difficult to see.
