Indemnification

It is my contention that the telcos have just such indemnification agreements with the Administration/government, that we do not know about because they are classified and hidden, that so protect them for any liability and losses resulting from the litigation they are faced with; thus they do not need immunity to protect them from potential liability verdicts, they are already covered.. A lot of speculation about a lot of rumors from secondary sources. Hard to put my teeth into any substantial information from this commentary. Still, the issue itself is important, which warrants checking out these well-intended musings.

I have a problem with this "article" in that it is just speculation. Speculation has a legitimate role in suggesting avenues of investigation for enterprising journalists but it also can be part of a slanderous disinformation campaign. Consequently, I can't recommend it.

This is an opinion piece. There is no reporting involved, thus there is no journalism to rate. The author is also ignorant about history or he would not make such a big fuss about an administration that has done far, far less than the administrations of FDR and Wilson to intercept and censor wartime communications, even to neutral countries such as Switzerland (I have examples).
