Interesting article. The author covered the fallout of a writer due to plagiarism very well. They gave an indepth view of how far the guilty party fell from grace. However, it did leave me wondering how the former Bush aide was employed. Since the columns were "guest columns" it makes you wonder if there will be more fallout due to the discovery of plagiarism.

There should be no surprise from this piece. The sad reality of one man's poor choices in pursuit of a questionable goal. But his mentors are notorious for bending things to present a narrow vision.

This news article is about a minor item. The most interesting aspect, that the person at fault was forced to resign immediately, is played down. Many more consequential figures have done worse and are still in their positions.
