Kaplan warns of quagmire in Afghanistan, but like Will does not question why the US is the country that has been taking the lead in dealing with Afghanistan.

I think Karzai is the best president for Afghanistan, and I agree with him that increasing the level of military presence (UK and US) will not improve security. Iran, Russia and China should be taking the lead in this matter, and the US should fade well into the background.
