Excellent documentary on the wild Pakistani tribal area, now a training ground for terrorist attacks worldwide. The striking footage of Taliban supporters give a sense of their religious fervor and brutality. The magnitude of the problem is also well documented, as well as the ineffectiveness of our current remedies.
Frontline is always interesting and trustworthy, and this specific program is very informative and to the point. Return of the Taliban details how this fundamentalist Muslim organization has been able to survive and even thrive after being toppled in 2001. The program is very helpful in gaining a better (and relatively unbiased) understanding both Pakistan's and the US's problems with this War on Terror and the nature of the enemies being faced.
