Rich report on a puzzling tragedy yet unsolved, taking place in Ivory Coast, a land long divided by civil war, corruption and unstable governments. It's like people there didn't have enough problems and sorrow so far; they also are the dumping site for an extremely toxic waste. The article wisely underlines this event as a dark and cruel result of an unequal globalization, with a discriminated South and a still not entirely careful and helping North. It is said many investigations are on their course, but the crux still is how such a dangerous material could leave Europe without proper authorization and acknowledgement of its final destination and handling.
