In that the article brings attention to "A weird new tactic is highlighting the troubling extent to which the news media fails to hold our elected officials accountable." it is good journalism. However, pointing ouit a problem without offering solutions or providing an idea of how the problem came to be (such as the 1996 Telecommunications Act signed by Clinton) is not 'good journalism'.

This opinion piece has little to recommend it. It is unbalanced and reflects the author's biases rather than reporting the news. Nothing is reported, in fact, that was not previously reported in the major media.
