This vitriolic opinion piece has no journalistic merit. The author is ignorant about Islam. He is ignorant about Christianity, using labels such as "Christian Right" without knowing what they mean. He does not know about the brutal repression of Christians in Muslim countries. Nor does her know about the treatment of women in these countries. Would he find genital mutilation of women, a routine practice in many Muslim countries, acceptable in the U.S.? This article does not demonstrate any effort to become informed about its subject.
