Kind of puts a new perspective on the scare stories about rationing and lack of treatment for "terminal" patients under single-payer plans. Between Keven and professor Hawking, they seem to be thoroughly disproved.

A good counter story to the wild tales of disastrous results of the Canadian health care system. Talk of rationed health care under the proposed reforms here are disingenuous at best since no one mentions that our health care has been rationed for years by the insurance companies.

This story is a great example of the health care problems that we have in the U.S it is a serious problem the gentleman in the story could have lost his life because health care is so expensive in the states. Great journalism.
