Perhaps a global political apocalypse has already arrived. Evil forces and tyrannical governments have evolved. By learning from history and using new technology they have smarter tools of tyranny. The tools of real rebellion are weak. Most corrupt and legally sanctioned forms of tyranny hide in plain sight as democracies with free elections. On this subject in these times, it is hard to tell if pessimism is being realistic. His views do not appear in corporate media. Many of his portrayals of the current situation have some truth to them. His paths to restore power to the people either do not resonate as likely to be hugely successful in bringing improvement, or not likely to happen. A constitutional convention would need a lot of people to get behind it outside the power elite. Withdrawing from supporting the economy is near impossible in modern interconnected society with so much contracted debt. Maybe I am the pessimist...
