The story pulls the difference between the two candidates into a sharp focus on the issue of no specifics vs. faith in the future of government. It has been a contention of many that Obama is lacking in policy and therefore not as qualified as Clinton. This story emphasizes that "hope" can be more than an empty promise. Given the sorry political state of our country these past 4+ decades, it could be a powerful force in the nomination and subsequent election since statistically speaking policy details are not the prime interest of voters.
